Guillermo Talero M.D

Guillermo TaleroDr. Talero graduated as a physician in 1985. After his graduation, he served his native Colombia in several primary care settings; also as executive director of a third level institution, and as a coordinator for the control of respiratory diseases. When circumstances called for it, he moved to the USA where he entered several research programs and was later on certified by the Florida Board of Medicine.

 

With more than 20 years of experience in the medical field; Dr. Talero has extensive experience in research and has participated in multiple relevant research protocols. For more than 10 years, he has provided services for the special health care needs population in the U.S. During his long career he has served an ample variety of patients. Since the beginning his calling has been working in the primary care setting to promote, serve and assist in the improvement of the health of the underserved.

 

Dr. Talero worked for more than 10 years with North Broward Hospital District (now the Broward Healt Care System), initially participating in research in several protocols of great relevance at the national and international level, and later on as primary care physician serving mainly a population with special health care needs. He has been part of a team of several research publications due to his work in the HIV field. He is also certified by the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
